Reviews
The museum isn't much to look at, but the mine is well worth the visit by itself. While not strictly required, I would strongly recommend calling ahead to make sure there is availability. There is no formal advance ticket sale, but you can get yourself put on the list for a specific tour tine, so you know you won't make the trip for nothing.
Great day out. Lots to learn

Nice mine.
Top!!!!!!
It was very nice
A good exhibition
I didn't take the trip through the mine; you should plan 1-1.5 hours for it.
I think it's worth a visit.
There was also a craft/artwork market this weekend. There was a lot on offer at affordable prices
There was bratwurst and drinks outside
Everyone was super friendly and the weather was great too
I highly recommend it
A few pictures of the way to the parking lot to the museum
Exciting and interesting way to get an impression of mining work in the 19th and early 20th centuries. It's a fairly cool 8°C in the mountain. Warm clothing is definitely not a bad idea. The tour (approx. 90 minutes) is highly recommended, but is only suitable for children under 10 with restrictions.
In the visitor mine you can see very impressively the mining of iron ore at that time. The tour was very interesting, informative and interactive, so that questions could always be asked. The size of the second mining field was particularly impressive. You should be able to walk well for the tour, as the ground is sometimes very uneven and there are steep gradients. We only visited the museum briefly before the tour due to time constraints, but it seemed very interesting. So you should take a little more time here.
A very interesting and informative museum about mining in this region. Before entering, it is recommended to look at the exhibition at least 1 hour in advance. Price performance is relatively top. 2 adults and 1 child 12 years 30 euros. Tour of the mine lasts 1.5 hours and you should be able to walk well and not necessarily wear light-colored clothing. Many thanks again to our guide. It was great.
We booked Willis Welt there for our son's 9th birthday. It was just GREAT 🤩! The boys were extremely enthusiastic, exclusive tour and simply totally exciting made by Lasse. Many thanks to the team and also for the uncomplicated booking.
